Safeguarding Curriculum
At Carleton House Preparatory School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. Through our carefully planned Safeguarding Curriculum, we equip our pupils with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to stay safe, make informed decisions, and understand their rights and responsibilities.
Our approach is age-appropriate, inclusive, and fully embedded into everyday school life—delivered through PSHE lessons, assemblies, digital safety sessions, and cross-curricular activities. Pupils learn about personal safety, mental health, healthy relationships, online awareness, and how to seek help when needed.
By fostering open dialogue and a culture of trust, we ensure every child knows they are valued, listened to, and protected.
