Extra Curricular Opportunities

At Carleton House Preparatory School, we offer a wide range of extracurricular sporting opportunities to ensure that all pupils have the chance to discover new activities, build confidence, and develop a love for sport. Our varied programme includes something for every interest and skill level, encouraging participation and fostering a sense of teamwork and achievement.

We are proud to partner with Judo Education, specialists who provide expert instruction in both judo and archery. These exciting sports allow pupils to develop physical strength, focus, and discipline while trying something unique and challenging.

Netball is another popular option, led by our own Mrs Hendrick, who brings her passion for the sport to weekly training sessions. Pupils enjoy learning the fundamentals of netball, from ball skills to game strategies, and have the opportunity to represent the school in matches.

For pupils across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, we offer Multi-sports sessions led by our specialist PE teacher. These sessions introduce children to a variety of sports, helping them to build fundamental movement skills, improve fitness, and develop sportsmanship in a fun and engaging environment.

Through these extracurricular opportunities, Carleton House encourages every child to discover their potential in sport, fostering a healthy and active lifestyle that they can carry with them into the future.
